The King Street business corridor is very important to residents, visitors, and businesses in Alexandria. The City of Alexandria’s Department of Transportation and Environmental Services, Resource Recovery Division, is committed to maintaining clean and safe infrastructure throughout the city. We provide litter collection, sidewalk sweeping, graffiti and sticker removal, sidewalk and road maintenance, sign installation and maintenance, and DASH trolley and bus coordination. Many of these services are provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
